Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Must speak English.
• Able to read, understand and follow written instructions or apply specifications and standards to determine conformance of product.
• Regularly perform repetitive tasks
• Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately using good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk for up to 12 hours and reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to up to 40 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close/distance/peripheral vision and color perception.
• Ability to commit to shift work including nights, overtime, holiday and weekend and prompt arrival for shifts.
• Must be able to communicate to others to convey information effectively.

Competencies:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have some manufacturing related experience with good attendance, job performance, and teaming skills.
• Reading and comprehending skills needed to be able to follow written and oral directions/instructions.
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.

Responsibilities:
• Operate industrial machinery.
• Read, understand, and interpret work instructions, written or verbal, to complete assembly of products or components according to established guidelines, instructions, procedures, and quality standards.
• Read, learn, understand, and comply with safety and company process and procedures.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete assembly of products.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for realizing continuous improvement to products and processes.
• Perform quality work checks to ensure product meets quality standards.
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects identified.
• Rework and/or repair assembled product according to engineering specification changes.
• Maintain inventory of products in work areas.
• Cross train to other departments as needed.

Authorities:
Employee performs wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing environment such as assemble,
fabricate parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required
specifications in a production line in a manufacturing organization. Employee will maintain a positive
work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that they get along with co-workers and
management. Continue to grow and gain knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with
continuous improvement. Employee is expected to perform the duties and tasks with minimal guidance
from supervisor, using work instructions and procedures.

In addition to the above, if assuming the assignment of lead on the team, employee will be expected to
complete all reports and authorization of any documentation, ensure that pallets are stacked properly,
and relay pertinent information to the on-coming shift at the end of the day.
